Most people visit Asheville, North Carolina to view the amazing
Biltmore Estate. Built by George Vanderbilt in 1895, this mansion
contains 250 rooms and too many bathrooms to mention. After viewing
this architectural masterpiece, visiting some of the restaurants
and cultural attractions you'll need a good place to lay your head
that keep with the Biltmore tradition.
One of the nicest Asheville NC Hotels to stay (along with a very
nice price tag!) is the Inn at the Biltmore. The beautifully
appointed rooms reflect the ambience of the Biltmore Estate. They
have available several package plans to help celebrate your special
occasion. During January and February, which is their slowest
season, they include free admission to the estate if you stay 2 or
more nights. Other packages may include breakfast, estate
transportation, guidebooks, audio tours, etc.
If your tastes run along these lines (expensive), you might also
enjoy the Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa. This is considered one of
the grand and historic hotels of the South. During the Christmas
season, 2 adults can stay for 3 nights for around $900. Several
presidents have stayed here, including Barack Obama.
There are several other great Asheville NC Hotels to stay in which
would fit into the expensive category. Some of these are The
Residences at Biltmore and The Bohemian Hotel Asheville Biltmore
Village.
But perhaps you are like most people and think it is not necessary
to spend your life’s savings just to sleep in an elegant room. In
that case, Asheville has many reasonably priced motel rooms to
accommodate you. Some of the middle-of-the-road places include the
Homewood Suites, Country Inn and Suites, Four Points by Sheraton
and Hotel Indigo, which is in downtown Asheville. Generally
speaking, the closer you stay to the Biltmore Estate, the more
expensive it is.
For those on a tight budget, Asheville also has many economical
hotel rooms. There are several Days Inns, Comfort Inns, Hamptons
and Fairfields available, as well as Econolodge , Rodeway Inn and
some Super 8 Motels. So no matter how much you want to spend, there
should be a comfortable, welcoming hotel room awaiting you in
Asheville, North Carolina!
